How do you write Fall in bubble letters?
- Mind the open letters. F, L and L are all open on the right. That leaves empty spaces in the word. Close them by tucking each letter into the corner of the one before.
- Tuck the A under the F. Slide the A under the arm of the F, so its left side overlaps slightly. Round the top of the A into a dome.
- Overlap the double L. Put the second L's stem over the first L's foot, or let the two feet join into one long base. Keep both stems the same height.
- Give the F thick arms. The F's two arms should be fat and rounded, with the lower arm a little shorter. Thin arms make the F look weak next to the round A.
- Leave room for leaves. Plan a leaf or two in the empty space above the L's. Sketch them in pencil before inking so they fit.

Colors and decorations for Fall
Warm autumn colors fit: orange, red, gold, brown and a deep yellow. Fill each letter in a different leaf color, or fade from yellow at the top to red at the bottom like a turning leaf. Draw maple leaves, acorns, a pumpkin or a little apple next to the word. A brown or dark red shadow keeps it warm.
Fall in graffiti letters
The graffiti image uses 3D letters pushed back with a deep block. FALL is easy in 3D because three of its letters are made of straight lines, so each block side is a simple shape. Keep the block direction the same on all four letters and color it darker than the fill. See the 3D graffiti letters guide.
