How do you write Fun in bubble letters?
- Draw it big. Three letters can fill a whole page. Mark three equal slots, with the U and N slightly wider than the F.
- Close the F's gap. F is open on its lower right. Slide the U under the F's arm so they overlap, or the word will look like F UN.
- Make the U deep. Give the U a round, deep bottom and thick sides. Keep its top flat and level with the F and N.
- Thicken the N's diagonal. The N's slanted middle is the part that thins out. Make it as fat as the sides, and round the top-left and bottom-right corners.
- Use FUN as practice. Because it is short, FUN is great for trying effects one at a time: a drop shadow, then highlights, then a fade, then drips.

Colors and decorations for Fun
Bright, loud colors suit FUN: lime and teal (the Toxic palette here), hot pink, orange and yellow. Fill each letter with a different pattern, like polka dots, stripes and zigzags. Add confetti dots, stars, a smiley face, balloons or a lightning bolt. A thick dark outline keeps bright colors from blending.
Fun in graffiti letters
The graffiti image uses the Wild style: bouncing, overlapping letters with a rough edge. FUN is short enough to go wild without becoming unreadable, so bounce the U above the line and add an arrow coming off the N. For full interlocking letters, see wildstyle.
