How do you write King in bubble letters?
- Start with the K. K is the hardest letter in KING. Draw a fat stem, then an arm and a leg that meet in one rounded blob. In Old English, the K has a curved stem and a pointed arm.
- Give the I full height. The I is the narrowest letter. Make it a fat capsule with rounded caps, the same height as K and N.
- Thicken the N. Keep the N's diagonal as thick as its sides. In bubble letters, round its two sharp corners.
- Close the G. Draw the G like an open C with a short bar going in. The bar keeps it from looking like a C or an O.
- Add the crown. Put a crown over the K, tilted a little. Three or five points on a band is enough. It should be about half the letter height.

King in graffiti letters
The graffiti image uses Old English letters: gothic blackletter with sharp points and thick and thin strokes, used in chicano lettering and tattoo-style designs. Old English KING looks strong because K and G have big curved shapes. Draw it with a chisel-tip marker at a fixed angle. The Old English letters guide shows each letter.
